A WHOLE NEW EXPERIENCE FOR YOUR DOG
Deer Creek Doggie Day Camp
Deer Creek Doggie offers both comprehensive group obedience classes and one-on-one training to fit the needs of your family. We believe that to be a successful team, dog and human need to learn to communicate in the same language, so our trainer emphasizes teaching you to "speak dog" through body language and vocal cues. We use positive and scientific training methods, including the use of treats, toys and clickers.
Group Basic Obedience classes are offered for puppies ages 10 weeks to 5 months, and for adult dogs ages 6 months and up. Each group obedience session consists of 6 one-hour class times, meeting weekly at the Camp. During Group Obedience, you and your dog will work through several exercises to improve the dog-human bond, increase your awareness of how your pup thinks and responds, and help your furry family member become a model citizen. Group class sizes are kept purposely small to allow time for practice directly with the trainer. Group classes are $85 for puppies under 5 months, and $110 for dogs aged 6 months and up.
One-on-One Training is available for dogs of all ages and breeds. In our One-on-One sessions, you set the curriculum for your dog. We can work with you and your dog on a variety of specific concerns or behaviors, such as jumping, loose leash walking, or excessive barking, as well as general obedience tasks. Each individual session is scheduled by personal availability, and we offer both morning and evening appointments to make it as convenient as possible for your family. One-on-One Training is $20 per session, or you can buy a package of 6 lessons for $100.
All dogs coming for training are required to be up to date on vaccinations, including rabies and bordatella in the previous 12 months. Applications for training can be picked up at the Camp Office during regular business hours.
